Weve refreshed our legal pages with a clean, white-based design and made support self-service first

With this update, it's easier to find the information you're looking for, and faster to get help when you need it. We've redesigned our legal pages around a clean, white-based layout and reorganized support so the flow is "try self-help first, and reach out if you still need a hand."

What's new in this update

This time we took a combined look at how readable the site is and how easily you can get help when something goes wrong. Here's what changed:

  • Fully refreshed our legal pages — terms of service, privacy policy, refund and cancellation details, and related disclosures — with a calm, white-based design
  • Before you contact us, we now guide you naturally toward self-help starting points such as the FAQ, setup guides, and connection checks
  • If that still doesn't solve it, there's a clear path through to contacting us

The goal was to balance two things: helping you reach the information you need quickly, and making sure you can always get in touch when you're stuck.

Why we made this change

For anyone using an eSIM for the first time, the setup and connection steps can feel a little confusing. And "contract-related" information — pricing, refund and cancellation conditions, how personal data is handled — tends to get skipped or cause worry when it's packed into dense blocks of text.

So we moved to a white-based design that's easier to read at a glance, making it simpler to find the specific item you need even on legal pages that naturally run long. At the same time, we organized the entry points so many questions can be answered on your own before reaching out.

How this helps you

This update makes moments like these smoother:

  • When you want to check the conditions before buying: refund and cancellation terms and other key disclosures are now easier to read and review.
  • When you hit a snag with setup or connection: before contacting us, there's a good chance you can resolve it yourself using the setup guide or connection-check page.
  • When you still can't figure it out: if the self-help path doesn't solve it, you can move straight through to contacting us without any guesswork.

We designed it so that people who like to look things up themselves and people who'd rather just ask right away can each move forward in the way that suits them.

What we focused on, the Bloomy way

Bloomy eSIM cares about making sure people using an eSIM abroad for the first time — as well as those traveling, studying abroad, or on shorter or longer stays — can get set up and connected without confusion, before and after purchase. As always, we prioritized a clean, white-based design that pairs readability with peace of mind, without resorting to anxiety-driven messaging. These paths aren't there to make it harder to reach us — they're there to point you toward the shortest route to a solution.

Tips: how to try "self-help" before contacting us

When your phone won't connect properly abroad, it's easy to panic. But in many cases you can solve it yourself by checking things in order. Before reaching out, try the following flow — it often gets you to a fix faster.

1. Start with the FAQ and setup guide

Questions like "how do I install the eSIM," "when does the line activate on arrival," and "is my device supported" are often already covered in the setup guide and FAQ. Sometimes you'll find the answer faster than waiting on a reply.

2. Check the connection basics

If things feel like they won't connect, checking a few basics can sometimes help:

  • Toggle airplane mode on and off, or restart your device
  • Make sure "data roaming" is turned on (it's often required with eSIMs)
  • Confirm that your mobile data line is switched over to the eSIM you purchased
  • After you arrive, it can take a little time to latch onto a local network, so wait a few minutes

3. Include your "situation" when you contact us

If it's still not resolved, go ahead and contact us. When you do, adding a note about the country you're traveling to, the device you're using, and which step you got stuck on helps us reach a solution with fewer back-and-forth messages.

A note: these are data-only eSIMs

Bloomy plans are generally data-only — they don't include a phone number, SMS, or voice calls. If you need a phone number, SMS verification, or voice calling, it's worth also looking into an alternative method or a plan that includes a number. App-based calling such as WhatsApp may work wherever you have a usable data connection.

Tips: legal pages are most useful before you buy

Terms of service, refund and cancellation details, and similar disclosures are often thought of as something you read only after a problem arises — but they're really information that's reassuring to check before you purchase. eSIMs in particular can behave differently depending on activation timing and device compatibility, so being able to review the conditions in an easy-to-read format before buying genuinely matters. Please note that plan contents and conditions may change, so check the latest information shown at the time of purchase.

What's coming next

We'll keep gradually tuning how readable each page is and how clear the support paths are. We also plan to improve multilingual display and post-purchase guidance step by step. Please note that actual connection quality can vary depending on the local network, your device, and your location, and a fair-use policy applies.
