Article 2 (Selling price)
The selling price is the price shown on each product page, the comparison page, the plan confirmation screen, and the checkout screen.
The displayed currency may vary depending on page settings, language settings, the checkout screen, your environment, and other factors. Please confirm the final amount payable on the checkout screen.
If there is a clear error in a displayed price, discount, campaign, currency conversion, tax, fee, or similar, the Service may, even after an order is completed, cancel the order, offer to re-order under the correct conditions, or provide a refund.
VPN service (subscription)
In addition to eSIMs, we sell a VPN service. Prices: 7-day plan JPY 180, 15-day plan JPY 280, monthly plan JPY 480, yearly plan JPY 4,800 (tax included). The latest prices are as shown on the purchase screen.
For monthly and yearly plans with auto-renewal enabled, the contract renews automatically for the same period and amount at the end of each term, and the registered payment method is charged automatically.
You can cancel auto-renewal at any time before the next renewal date from the VPN section of My Page. After cancellation the service ends at the end of the current period; no prorated refunds are provided. Your contract period, next renewal date and auto-renewal status can be checked on My Page at any time.
Free promotions
Free (JPY 0) eSIM plans may be offered to eligible visitors arriving via designated campaigns. Conditions are as set out in the Terms of Service and on the claim screen.
Article 3 (Charges other than the product price)
In addition to the product price, the following costs may arise:
- Data charges for your Internet connection
- Fees set by card companies, financial institutions, or payment providers at the time of payment
- Currency exchange fees, overseas handling fees, foreign-currency settlement fees, and the like
- Charges for the connectivity needed to set up the eSIM, scan the QR code, receive email, and so on
- Costs related to communication services, devices, Wi-Fi, and the like that you use separately
These costs are borne by the customer.
Article 4 (Payment methods)
The following payment methods may be available on the Service:
- Credit card
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- Other payment methods specified by the Service on the checkout screen
External payment services such as Stripe may be used to process payments. Please confirm the available payment methods shown on the checkout screen.
Auto top-up
If you enable auto top-up, when the data balance of the target eSIM falls below a level set by the Service, the price of the pre-selected additional data plan is automatically charged to your registered payment method. Auto top-up can be disabled at any time from My Page.
Article 5 (Timing of payment)
Payment is due at the time the order is confirmed or the payment process is completed.
The actual timing of charges for credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other payment methods follows the rules of your card company, payment provider, or financial institution.
Article 6 (Product details)
The products sold by the Service are data-only eSIM plans for travelers going abroad.
There is no shipping of a physical SIM card. Please confirm the product details, supported countries/regions, data allowance, validity period, price, activation conditions, expiry, network type, 5G support, top-up availability, and the like as shown on each product page, the comparison page, and the purchase confirmation screen.
Some products may not support voice calls, phone numbers, sending/receiving SMS, identity-verification SMS, emergency calls, and the like. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the eSIMs sold by the Service are data-only.
Article 7 (Delivery timing)
After payment is completed, we normally provide the QR code, activation code, SM-DP+ address, APN information, and other eSIM setup details within a few minutes (often immediately) by email, via My Page, or by a method designated by the Service.
However, provision of the setup details may take time in the following cases:
- When system processing takes time
- When the provider’s eSIM issuance processing takes time
- When stock confirmation or issuance eligibility needs to be checked
- When fraud checks, payment checks, or security checks are required
- When the email delivery service, payment service, eSIM issuance service, servers, or the like experience a failure
- When there is a deficiency in the order information
- In other cases where the Service determines that confirmation is necessary
If provision is significantly delayed, the Service will, as necessary, notify you through its support channel or your registered email address.
Article 8 (Returns, cancellation, and refunds)
An eSIM is a digital product that does not involve shipping of a physical item. After the QR code, activation code, SM-DP+ address, APN information, or other setup details have been issued or sent, cancellation, returns, and refunds are in principle not possible due to the nature of digital products.
The details of cancellation and refunds follow the separately established “Refund & Cancellation Policy.”
Refunds are, in principle, not available in the following cases:
- When your device did not support eSIM
- When the SIM lock had not been released
- When you selected the wrong supported country, plan, data amount, validity period, or activation timing
- When your travel plans changed, were postponed, were canceled, or were called off
- When you could not confirm the setup details due to an incorrect email address, receiving settings, spam filtering, or the like
- When a problem arose from your own setup mistake, device settings, OS settings, connectivity, or Wi-Fi environment
- When slower speeds or unstable connections occurred due to the local network environment, signal conditions, congestion, carrier maintenance, network outages, or the like
- When you request a refund on the grounds of non-use after the QR code or activation information has been issued
- When you deleted the eSIM by mistake
- When you tried to use it outside the supported countries/regions
However, if the Service or the provider failed to provide valid eSIM setup details due to a defect, if it is confirmed that a plan shown as a supported country/plan cannot be used due to a problem on the provider’s side, or in other cases the Service deems appropriate, the Service may, depending on the situation, provide a replacement eSIM, reissue, a partial refund, a full refund, or take other measures.
Article 9 (Conditions of use)
To use Bloomy eSIM, the following conditions must be met:
- Your device supports eSIM
- The SIM lock has been released
- You use it in a supported country/region
- You can prepare the connectivity (such as Wi-Fi) needed when setting up the eSIM
- You have entered an email address at which you can receive the setup details delivered after purchase
- You can correctly configure your device’s OS, network settings, mobile data, data roaming, and the like
Before purchasing, please confirm whether your device supports eSIM, whether the SIM lock has been released, and whether your destination is included in the supported countries/regions.
Connection speed and status may vary depending on the country/region, connectivity, local carrier, device, and usage environment such as indoors, underground, mountainous areas, or congested areas.
Article 10 (Items to confirm before purchase)
Before purchasing, please be sure to confirm the following:
- Bloomy eSIM is a digital eSIM data plan for travelers going abroad, and there is no shipping of a physical SIM card
- The device you intend to use supports eSIM
- The SIM lock has been released
- Your destination is included in the plan’s supported countries/regions
- The data amount, validity period, price, and activation timing are correct
- The eSIM is data-only and may not support voice calls or SMS
- You have entered an email address that can receive the QR code or activation information
- Notification emails may not arrive due to spam settings or receiving restrictions
- If you delete the eSIM, you may not be able to reinstall it
- You have reviewed the refund/cancellation conditions
Article 11 (Operating environment and communication quality)
The Service does not guarantee complete operation on all devices, operating systems, countries/regions, or connectivity environments.
Communication quality, speed, coverage areas, the network you connect to, and the network type (5G/4G/LTE, etc.) vary depending on the provider, the local carrier, the device, the OS, the destination, signal conditions, congestion, maintenance, outages, and other factors.
If a connection problem occurs, first check “How to troubleshoot connection issues,” and if it is still not resolved, please contact Bloomy eSIM support.
Article 12 (Login and My Page)
The Service may require login for purchases, order management, My Page display, checking remaining data, additional purchases, support, and the like.
On My Page, you may be able to view your purchased eSIM information, order details, remaining data, expiry, additional purchases, and the like. The remaining data and expiry shown may be subject to a delay in reflecting information from the provider and are not guaranteed to be real-time or completely accurate at all times.
Article 13 (Fraudulent use and order cancellation)
If the Service determines that there is fraudulent payment, impersonation, entry of false information, resale, third-party use, chargeback fraud, a breach of terms, or a security concern, it may place orders on hold, cancel them, suspend provision of products, suspend accounts, restrict support, refuse refunds, report to relevant authorities, or take other necessary measures.
To prevent fraudulent use and protect the Service, the Service may verify order information, payment information, login information, access information, and the like.
Article 14 (Final confirmation screen)
The Service endeavors to let you confirm the product details, supported countries/regions, data amount, validity period, price, payment method, return/cancellation conditions, email address, and the like on the confirmation screen before purchase.
Before confirming your order, you should check that there are no errors in your purchase details and, if necessary, correct them before proceeding to payment.
Article 15 (Changes to sales conditions)
The Service may change its service content, prices, supported countries/regions, plan content, payment methods, delivery methods, refund conditions, and the like as necessary.
The changed content applies from the time it is posted on this site or from a time otherwise specified by the Service.
