These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) set out the conditions for using the overseas eSIM sales service and related services provided by Bloomy eSIM (the “Service”). Before using the Service, you must review these Terms and use the Service only if you agree to them.
Article 1 (Application)
- These Terms apply to all relationships between the Service’s operator and users concerning use of the Service.
- You are deemed to have agreed to these Terms when you use the Service, purchase a product, or use any feature on the Service.
- The Refund & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, Legal Notice (Specified Commercial Transactions Act), FAQ, setup guide, connection-troubleshooting guidance, and other individual provisions posted on the Service form part of these Terms.
- If these Terms and an individual provision conflict, the individual provision prevails unless it provides otherwise.
Article 2 (Definitions)
The terms used in these Terms have the following meanings:
- “User” means an individual or entity that views, uses, purchases from, registers with, or makes inquiries to the Service.
- “eSIM” means an embedded SIM, or its profile, that allows the use of a communication plan on a compatible device without a physical SIM card.
- “Product” means the data-only overseas eSIM and related communication plans sold through the Service.
- “Order” means the act of a user selecting a Product on the Service and completing the payment process.
- “Setup details” means the eSIM QR code, activation code, SM-DP+ address, APN information, and other information needed to set up the eSIM.
- “My Page” means the management screen on the Service where a user can view purchase history, eSIM information, remaining data, expiry, additional purchases, and the like.
Article 3 (Service content)
- The Service provides the sale of data-only eSIMs usable overseas, the provision of setup details after purchase, the provision of related support information, and My Page features.
- The eSIMs sold by the Service are, in principle, data-only. Voice calls, provision of a phone number, sending/receiving SMS, receiving identity-verification SMS, emergency calls, and other voice/SMS-related features are not provided unless expressly stated on the product page.
- Communication quality, speed, coverage areas, the network connected to, and the network type (5G/4G/LTE, etc.) vary depending on the local carrier, the provider, the device, the destination, the usage environment such as buildings, underground, or mountainous areas, congestion, maintenance, and other factors.
- The Service does not guarantee constantly stable communication in all regions, on all devices, and in all connection conditions.
- The descriptions on product pages, comparison pages, FAQ, setup guides, and the like are general information to aid user understanding and do not guarantee complete operation in individual usage environments.
Article 4 (Conditions of use and compatible devices)
- Using the Product requires a device that supports eSIM and whose SIM lock has been released.
- Before purchasing, the user shall confirm that their device supports eSIM, that the SIM lock has been released, and that the device can be used at the destination.
- If the Product cannot be used due to an incompatible device, an unreleased SIM lock, an OS issue, incorrect device settings, a device fault, device specifications, carrier-side restrictions, or other causes attributable to the user’s environment, the Service is not liable except in cases of the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- The user understands that installing and setting up the eSIM may require a stable Internet environment, particularly Wi-Fi.
- The user understands that once an eSIM is deleted from a device it may not be possible to reinstall it with the same QR code or setup details, and shall not casually delete the eSIM—even if a connection problem occurs—before checking the support guidance.
Article 5 (Orders and purchases)
- The user shall place an order after confirming the product details, supported countries/regions, data amount, validity period, price, conditions of use, notes, and refund/cancellation conditions shown on the Service.
- The user warrants that the email address, account information, and purchase information entered at the time of order or obtained via login are accurate.
- If the user could not confirm the setup details due to an incorrect email address, receiving settings, spam filtering, insufficient mailbox capacity, a network outage, or other circumstances on the user’s side, the Service is not liable except in cases of the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- After confirming that payment is complete, the Service provides the setup details by email, via My Page, or by a method designated by the Service.
- For fraud prevention, stock status, the provider’s circumstances, payment review, system failures, or other cases the Service deems necessary, the Service may place an order on hold, cancel it, or process a refund.
- If there is a clear error in a displayed price, plan content, stock, discount, currency conversion, tax, fee, or the like, the Service may, even after an order is formed, cancel the order or offer to re-order under the correct conditions.
Article 6 (Fees and payment)
- The fee for the Product is the amount shown on each product page, the confirmation screen, and the checkout screen.
- Payment shall be made by the payment methods designated by the Service.
- Payment may be made through an external payment service. The user shall comply with the terms of use of that external payment service.
- A purchase may not be completed due to a payment failure, refusal of authorization by the card company or payment provider, fraud detection, a network outage, a failure of the external payment service, or the like.
- Even after payment is completed, if providing the Product is difficult due to the provider’s lack of stock, a system failure, a product-issuance error, or the like, the Service may propose an alternative, cancel the order, or provide a refund.
Article 7 (Account and login)
- The user may be required to log in by a method designated by the Service for purchases, using My Page, checking purchase history and remaining data, additional purchases, and support.
- The user shall manage the account information used for login at their own responsibility.
- The Service is not liable for damages arising from inadequate management of login information, third-party use, unauthorized access, loss of a device, and the like, except in cases of the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- If the Service determines there is fraudulent use, impersonation, payment fraud, a breach of terms, or a security concern, it may suspend the account, place orders on hold, restrict support, or take other necessary measures.
Article 8 (eSIM setup and activation)
- The user shall install and set up the eSIM at their own responsibility, following the setup details provided after purchase, the Service’s setup guide, and the on-device guidance.
- The display names and operation methods for eSIM installation, line labeling, selecting the mobile-data line, data-roaming settings, APN settings, network selection, switching with an existing SIM, and the like may differ depending on the device and OS.
- The user understands that, after arriving at the destination, they may need to select the Product for mobile data and, if necessary, enable data roaming on the Product side.
- If the user tries to use the Product within Japan or outside the target country, communication may not be possible.
- The activation timing, the start of the validity period, the connectable regions, and the conditions for consuming data may differ by product. The user shall review the guidance before and after purchase.
- The Service is not liable for communication charges, inability to reissue, inability to use, or other damages arising from the user’s setup mistakes, unintended communication on an existing SIM, incorrect data-roaming settings, deletion of the eSIM, and the like, except in cases of the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 9 (Data amount, validity, and additional purchases)
- The data amount, validity period, and usable days of the Product follow the content stated on the product page or the purchase confirmation screen.
- If the data amount is used up, communication may stop, speed may be limited, an additional purchase may be required, or the purchase of another plan may be required.
- After the validity period expires, the Product may become unusable even if unused data remains.
- The display of remaining data and expiry may be subject to a delay in reflecting information from the provider and is not guaranteed to be real-time or completely accurate at all times.
- Whether additional purchases, top-ups, or repurchases are possible varies depending on the product, country/region, provider, stock status, and the Service’s specifications.
Article 10 (Cancellation and refunds)
- The handling of cancellation and refunds follows the Refund & Cancellation Policy separately established by the Service.
- Due to the nature of digital products, after the setup details are issued, after the QR code is sent, after installation, after activation, or when the Product could not be used due to the user’s circumstances, refunds or cancellation may not be available.
- Cancellations and refunds due to circumstances on the user’s side—such as an incompatible device, an unreleased SIM lock, setup mistakes, a change of destination, selecting the wrong plan, unconfirmed email, the user’s connectivity, use outside the target country, or eSIM deletion—are, in principle, not eligible, except as provided in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- However, this does not apply where the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence causes damage to the user, or where a refund is required by law.
- If the Service cannot complete provision of the Product due to a provider’s failure, lack of stock, a product-issuance error, or the like, the Service may, depending on the situation, propose an alternative product, reissue, cancel the order, or provide a refund.
Article 11 (Support)
- The Service may provide support to users via the FAQ, setup guide, connection-troubleshooting page, official LINE, email, or other methods designated by the Service.
- Support hours, expected response times, and response methods follow the content displayed on the Service.
- When receiving support, the user shall provide the information requested by the Service, such as the order number, the email address used at purchase, the country/region of use, the device name, screenshots of settings or error screens, and the troubleshooting steps tried.
- If the user does not provide the necessary information or the information provided is inaccurate, support may take time or sufficient guidance may not be possible.
- The Service’s support does not guarantee resolution of all issues with devices, operating systems, carriers, local networks, external services, and the like.
Article 12 (Prohibited acts)

Article 13 (Suspension of use and order cancellation)
- If a user breaches these Terms, or if the Service determines there is a risk of breach, the Service may, without prior notice, cancel orders, suspend provision of products, suspend the account, restrict support, refuse refunds, investigate fraudulent use, report to relevant authorities, or take other necessary measures.
- Even if the measures in the preceding paragraph cause damage to the user, the Service is not liable except in cases of the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- If the Service suffers damage due to a user’s fraudulent use, breach of terms, false declaration, chargeback fraud, or the like, the Service may claim damages against that user.
Article 14 (External and third-party services)
- The Service may use external or third-party services for payment, authentication, communication-line provision, eSIM issuance, email delivery, access analytics, support, and other purposes.
- The use of external services may be subject to the terms, privacy policy, and other conditions of those external services.
- Part or all of the Service may become unusable due to the suspension, failure, specification change, account restriction, malfunction, delay in reflecting information, or the like of an external service.
- The Service is not liable for damages attributable to external services, except in cases of the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 15 (Intellectual property rights)
- Intellectual property rights to the text, images, designs, logos, trademarks, characters, UI, programs, databases, and all other content posted on the Service belong to the Service or to legitimate rights holders.

- If the user provides reviews, inquiries, survey responses, feedback, or the like to the Service, the Service may use them—in a form that does not identify individuals—for service improvement, quality enhancement, marketing, creating FAQs, and the like.
Article 16 (Handling of personal information)
- The Service handles users’ personal information in accordance with the Privacy Policy separately established by the Service.
- In using the Service, the user agrees to the Privacy Policy.

Article 17 (Changes, suspension, and termination of the Service)
- The Service may change its content, specifications, prices, sales plans, target countries/regions, UI, support methods, campaigns, features, and the like without prior notice.
- The Service may suspend or terminate all or part of the Service when necessary for system maintenance, failure response, security response, suspension of external services, the provider’s circumstances, natural disasters, network outages, legal compliance, business judgment, or other reasons.
- Even if the preceding paragraph causes damage to the user, the Service is not liable except in cases of the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 18 (Disclaimer)
- The Service does not warrant, whether expressly or impliedly, the following:
- That the Product can be used on all devices, operating systems, regions, and connectivity environments
- That communication speed, quality, coverage areas, and the network connected to are always stable
- That 5G, tethering, certain apps, identity verification, SMS, voice calls, emergency calls, and the like can be used
- That the information on the Service is always up to date, accurate, and complete
- That the Service is provided without interruption, suspension, failure, or error
- If damage occurs to the user due to the local connectivity environment, a carrier failure, signal conditions, congestion, device settings, device specifications, an OS issue, a SIM lock, the user’s setup mistakes, use outside the target country, eSIM deletion, unconfirmed email, an external-service failure, or the like, the Service is not liable except in cases of the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- If damage occurs to the user due to the Service’s slight negligence, the Service’s liability for damages is capped at the amount the user actually paid to the Service for the order that caused the damage, and is limited to ordinary and direct damages.
- The preceding paragraph does not apply where the Service is guilty of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
- The Service is not liable for the user’s lost profits, indirect damages, special damages, consequential damages, changes to travel itineraries, accommodation costs, transportation costs, opportunity losses due to an inability to connect, business losses, claims from third parties, emotional distress, or anything other than ordinary and direct damages, except in cases of the Service’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.

- If the user breaches the preceding paragraph, the Service may, without prior notice, suspend that user’s use of the Service, cancel orders, suspend the account, or take other necessary measures.
Article 20 (VPN Service)
In addition to eSIMs, the Service provides a VPN service. The content, supported regions, prices and contract periods of the VPN service are as displayed on the purchase screen.
For monthly and yearly VPN plans with auto-renewal enabled, the contract renews automatically at the end of each period and the registered payment method is charged. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time from My Page; the service then ends at the end of the current period.
The VPN service is intended to improve communication security. Use for illegal activities, violations of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights is prohibited.
VPN quality and connectivity may vary depending on region and network conditions.
Article 21 (Saved payment methods and automatic charges)
You may register (save) a payment method such as a credit card at checkout. Card details are stored by our payment processor (Stripe); the Service never holds your card number.
If you enable auto top-up or VPN auto-renewal, the Service may charge the saved payment method without further action on your part.
You can disable auto top-up and auto-renewal, and change or delete saved payment methods, at any time from My Page.
Article 22 (eSIM gifts)
You may be able to transfer (gift) a purchased, unused eSIM to a third party using the gift link feature provided by the Service.
You are responsible for managing gift links. The Service is not liable if an unintended third party receives the eSIM due to a leaked link or similar causes.
The conditions of a gifted eSIM (validity period, data amount, etc.) follow the original product. No refunds or reissues are provided on the grounds of gifting.
Article 23 (Free promotional plans)
The Service may offer free eSIM plans ("Free Promotions") to visitors arriving via partners or to other recipients designated by the Service.
A free account is required. Free Promotions are intended for first-time customers of the Service and are limited to one per customer.
To prevent abuse, we may ask you to register a payment method for verification when claiming; no charge is made in this verification, and the same payment method cannot be used for more than one claim.
Free Promotions may be changed, suspended or ended without notice due to quota, availability or other reasons. If acquisition through multiple accounts or other improper means is found, the Service may cancel the offer, disable the issued eSIM, or suspend the account.
eSIMs provided through Free Promotions may not be resold or transferred. The data amount and validity period displayed at the time of claiming apply.
