Plan cards, redesigned so you can compare options at a glance

With this update, when several plans appear side by side, the data allowance, number of days, and price are now easy to compare in one view. Even if you're choosing an eSIM for the first time, it's simpler to see which plan fits you without second-guessing.

What we changed

Until now, the position and order of details varied slightly from one plan to the next, so your eyes had to jump around when comparing them. We reorganized the layout of each plan card so that data allowance, length of use, and price always line up in the same place.

Whether you scan the cards across a row or read down a column, the numbers you care about catch your eye right away. We also made the distinction between fixed-data plans and unlimited plans clearer, so the two don't blur together.

Why we did it

An eSIM only makes sense for you once three things come together: how much data you need, how many days you'll use it, and what it costs. When those details aren't presented consistently, it's easy to choose on price alone and end up short on the data or days you actually needed.

So instead of letting a low price stand out on its own, we prioritized a layout where allowance, days, and price can be weighed together. The goal is to give you a solid footing to choose with confidence.

What's more convenient for you

If you already have a destination in mind and a rough sense of how many days you'll be there and how much data you'll likely use, you can narrow down candidates just by comparing the cards. Because days and allowance are shown alongside price rather than price by itself, it's easier to avoid surprises like "that was fewer days than I thought" or "that wasn't enough data."

Tips for choosing by allowance and days

While we're at it, here's a simple way to think it through. The most common stumble in picking an eSIM is deciding on the price figure alone. Working through the steps below makes it easier to land on a plan that suits you.

1. Start with how many days you'll use it

For a trip or a work assignment, that's how long you'll be on the ground; for studying abroad or a longer stay, you might start with the first few weeks to a month after you arrive. Once the number of days is set, your shortlist of plans gets much shorter.

2. Then think about how much you'll use per day

If you're mostly using maps, messaging apps like WhatsApp, and quick lookups, a smaller allowance is often enough. If you regularly share photos and videos, stream, or make video calls, a larger allowance or an unlimited plan gives you more breathing room. It comes down to whether you want plenty of headroom or just a reliable connection.

3. Finally, compare prices

Looking at price after you have a feel for days and allowance makes it less likely you'll overpay for a plan you don't need, or pick one that falls short. This layout update is designed precisely to make comparing in that "days → allowance → price" order easier.

If you expect to use a lot and would rather not keep an eye on your allowance, it can help to consider an unlimited-type plan as well. Note that even unlimited plans may come with terms such as a fair-use policy, so please check the latest details shown before you buy. Also, Bloomy eSIM is generally data-only. If you need a phone number, SMS, or voice calls, please look into a separate option alongside it.

The Bloomy touch

Rather than just cramming numbers in, we kept things clean so the details you need register calmly. For anyone using an eSIM abroad for the first time, we care about a layout that leaves you thinking "I can handle this choice" instead of growing more anxious as you look.

What's next

We'll keep refining how plans are presented and how easy they are to compare. Guided by the feedback of the people who use Bloomy, we plan to keep shaping it, step by step, into something that's even easier to choose from.
