Which countries can I use it in?

Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, India, Bangladesh — 14 countries in total. You keep the same eSIM when you cross borders.

Can I use it in China or Singapore?

No. China and Singapore are not included in the Asia 14-country plans. If you are going to either one, choose a plan for that country. Find a China plan / Find a Singapore plan

Can I use tethering (hotspot)?

How many days can I use it, and when does the count start?

The number of days depends on the plan (see the price table above). Validity starts when the eSIM first connects in your destination. Setting it up before departure does not use up any days.

What is the difference between daily plans and fixed-data plans?

A fixed-data plan gives you a total amount of data to use over a set number of days (for example 20 GB over 30 days). When it runs out, data stops or slows down. A daily plan sets how much high-speed data you can use each day, and speed may drop once you go over it. Daily plans suit long trips with heavy daily use; fixed-data plans suit trips where you can estimate your total use.

Can I add more data?

Yes. Top-ups from My Page are 5% off compared with buying a new plan, and 10% off with auto-recharge.

Does the long-stay discount apply to fixed-data plans?

No. The long-stay discount applies to daily plans only. For daily plans of 2 days or more, the discount is 2% to 10% depending on the number of days. Fixed-data plans (the ones in the price table above) are not eligible.
