Check whether your phone supports eSIM
To use Bloomy eSIM, your smartphone must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. We recommend checking in advance using the steps below.
iPhone
- Go to Settings → General → About. If you see an "EID" or "Digital SIM" entry, your iPhone supports eSIM.
- Or dial *#06#; if an EID is shown, eSIM is supported.
- Most iPhone XS / XR and later models support eSIM (may vary by country of purchase).
Android
- Go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs. If you can "Add eSIM" / "Add SIM", eSIM is supported.
- Or check Settings → About phone for an EID.
- Many recent Google Pixel, Galaxy and Xperia models support eSIM, but it varies by model and region.
About carrier unlock
Phones purchased from a carrier may be locked. You need an unlocked phone to use an overseas eSIM. Please check your unlock status with your carrier.
