We Made the Plan Comparison Tables Easier to Read on Mobile

When you read our articles on a phone, the pricing and data comparison tables sometimes ran off the edge of the screen, and the price figures wrapped onto a second line and became hard to follow. We've cleaned that up. Now it's easier to compare each plan's price, data allowance, and validity period while you're on the go. It feels like another small step toward being able to choose a plan with nothing but your phone in hand.

What we changed

For the tables inside our articles, you can now scroll horizontally on a phone to view the whole table, and we've made sure numbers like prices no longer wrap in the middle. We also tidied up the row dividers and spacing for better readability. Tables that line plans up side by side are now easier to read on a small screen.

Specifically, here's what we focused on:

  • The columns that actually drive your decision — data, days, and price — stay aligned, so each row reads cleanly across.
  • Price figures no longer wrap, so you can take in the full number at a glance.
  • When a table extends past the edge of the screen, it's clear that you can scroll sideways to see the rest.
  • There's more breathing room between rows, so it's harder to lose your place as you scroll with your finger.

Why we made this change

Most people reading Bloomy eSIM are doing so on a phone. Price and data allowance are exactly what you most want to know when choosing a plan — so if those numbers get cut off, you can't really compare. Being able to actually read the information you came for is a basic thing, but an important one, so we started with the readability of the tables.

The first time you use an eSIM abroad, you especially want to compare a few plans and work out "which one fits me." Whether the table is even readable sits right at the front of that decision, and we see it as the foundation for choosing a plan with confidence.

What to check in an eSIM plan comparison table

Now that the tables are easier to read, here's a quick rundown of the things worth looking at when comparing eSIM plans. Rather than deciding on price alone, checking the points below helps you avoid coming up short — or buying far more than you'll use — once you arrive.

Balancing data (GB) and validity period

Even at the same price, the data allowance and the number of usable days can differ. For a short trip, a modest amount of data is usually fine; for a longer stay, it's reassuring to choose something with room to spare on both days and data. If you're mostly checking maps, messages, and social media, a smaller plan tends to be enough; if you stream video or use tethering, lean toward more. A simple way to choose is to roughly estimate how much you'll use per day, then multiply by the number of days to gauge the total data you need.

Covered countries and regions

Each plan covers a specific set of countries and regions. If you're visiting several countries, check whether the plan supports multi-country use. It's also worth confirming in advance that any countries you stop in during a layover, or pop across the border to, are included in the coverage.

Unlimited plan or standard plan

An unlimited plan lets you use data without watching the counter, but the details vary by plan: speeds may be reduced after a certain amount of usage, and fair use policies and tethering conditions differ. Actual speeds also depend on the local network, the area, and how congested it is at a given time of day. Rather than assuming "unlimited means fast no matter what," it's worth checking the usage terms before you buy. If you watch a lot of long video or use tethering heavily, an unlimited plan tends to suit you; if you're taking a short trip and have a reasonable idea of how much you'll use, a standard data plan can be plenty.

Whether it's data-only

Bloomy plans are data-only. There's no phone number, no SMS, and no voice calling, so if you need any of those, look into a separate option alongside your eSIM. Staying in touch through apps like WhatsApp can work wherever you have a working data connection.

Plans can change

Pricing, data allowances, covered countries, and the terms of unlimited plans can all change. For your final decision, confirm the latest details shown on the checkout screen. It's best to treat the table as a starting point for comparison.

What Bloomy cares about

Beyond just tidying up the look, we prioritized making the numbers that drive your decision — price and data allowance — clear to read without hunting for them. We've adjusted text size, spacing, and row dividers with the goal of a readability that lets you compare calmly on a phone. Not cramming in too much information, and letting you reach the number you need right when you need it — that's the kind of reading experience we'll keep caring about.

Looking ahead

We plan to keep improving article readability little by little, wherever we notice room for it. Beyond tables, we'd like to refine how diagrams and step-by-step instructions are presented, starting with whatever we can make clearer first.
