At Bloomy eSIM, we've organized the basic principles behind our visual design—things like color choices and how text is presented—to make getting ready for a trip abroad just a little lighter. In this article, we'll share the thinking behind our design choices and how they translate into a better experience.

What We Refreshed

We organized the principles for the colors and typography used across every Bloomy eSIM screen. Our foundation is three colors: white, soft blue, and navy. White creates generous breathing room, soft blue adds a sense of gentleness, and navy brings a grounded, trustworthy feel—so that even screens with a lot of information stay calm and easy to read.

We also revisited the balance of weight and size across headings, body text, and buttons. Without over-emphasizing anything, we set clear visual priorities so it feels natural to know where to look and which button to tap next.

Why We Focused on Design

For first-time users, an eSIM can feel a bit daunting. You may need to adjust settings on your phone, and once you arrive at your destination you might wonder, "Will this actually connect?" It's easy to feel uncertain both before and after a purchase.
