You can now browse every available plan for every country and region before picking a destination. The moment you open the eSIM comparison page, you'll see all the data options for each country — along with a quick guide to how far each amount of data actually goes. Here's a look at what changed.
What's new
We've reworked how the eSIM comparison page displays plans:
- All plans shown before you pick a destination: Previously, each country card showed only two representative data options until you selected a destination. Now, every data option available for that country or region is displayed from the start — just as it would be after selecting a destination.
- New "usage guide" hints: When you select a data amount on a card, a short note appears — something like "A comfortable amount for maps, social media, and everyday travel." These hints are available in seven languages, including English.
- Popular destinations first: We've reordered the cards so the most frequently chosen countries and regions appear at the top.
- A consistent destination picker on mobile and desktop: The destination-selection bar at the bottom of the screen now sits in the same place and works the same way on both. It tucks itself away while you scroll through the page and reappears when you scroll back up.
- Small visual refinements: We also tidied up button sizes, spacing, and how pricing is presented.
Why we made this change
It started with a simple question: "Does this country really only have two plans?" In reality, many countries offer close to ten data options — but the first screen wasn't conveying that range at all.
People arrive at the comparison page from many directions: the homepage search, the "Find a plan" menu, links inside articles, or straight from a search engine. We felt that an honest comparison page should show the full picture of your options no matter which door you came in through — so we reviewed the display logic piece by piece.
What this means for you
- See the full range at a glance: The moment the page loads, you can scan what data options each country offers. As of July 2026, that's more than 2,800 plans, all browsable in a single, consistent view.
- Less guesswork when choosing a data amount: The usage guides translate raw numbers into a practical sense of "how much can I actually do with this?" — right where you're choosing.
- Less back-and-forth: You can compare plans across multiple countries in one continuous flow, without repeatedly selecting a destination and backing out again.
Available plans, prices (shown in USD), and terms vary by country and region and may change — please check the comparison page for the latest details before purchasing. Actual connection quality depends on the local network, your device, and where you are.
The details we cared about
For the usage guides, instead of listing data figures, we chose wording that brings a travel moment to mind — like "enough to enjoy the occasional video." They're written not to push any particular plan, but to sit quietly alongside the numbers as a point of reference. And because more information can easily make a screen feel noisy, we fine-tuned the spacing and dividers so everything still feels calm.
A quick guide: choosing an eSIM by destination, data, and duration
Now that the full range of plans is easier to see, here are a few tips for narrowing down which one is right for you.
Choose data based on your travel style

If you stream a lot, rely on tethering, or are settling in for a long stay, an unlimited-style plan is worth considering too. Keep in mind that unlimited-style plans may come with fair-use policies or speed-related conditions, so it's worth reviewing the terms before you buy.
For duration, plan for "trip length plus one spare day"
Flight delays and layovers happen — so rather than matching your plan exactly to your itinerary, we recommend adding about a day of buffer. Many countries offer the same data amount across several durations, so pick the one that fits your trip on the comparison page.
Check first: these are data-only plans
Bloomy plans are data-only. They don't include a phone number, so traditional voice calls and SMS aren't supported — but app-based calls that run over data, such as WhatsApp and FaceTime, work as usual. If you need a phone number or SMS while abroad, consider options like keeping your home SIM active in a dual-SIM setup.
