The screen where you compare plans for your destination now opens with far less waiting. For some countries and regions it used to take several seconds to appear; it now typically displays in around one second (based on our own measurements as of July 2026; results vary with your connection and device). Even when you're short on time before departure, it's now easier to switch between destinations and compare.
What we changed
To be clear up front: we didn't change the information you see — we changed how long you wait to see it. The comparison page rebuilds its contents every time you change the country, data allowance, or number of days, so the more conditions you adjusted, the more waiting piled up.
- Reduced the time between opening the comparison page and seeing the results
- Made filtering by country name feel lighter than before
- Prepared frequently viewed countries and regions so they're ready to display in advance
- Smoothed out the delay when moving through to a plan detail page
The plans themselves — their contents, pricing, and supported countries — are unchanged. This was purely a review of loading time.
Why we did it
The comparison page is the first screen most people open when they try Bloomy eSIM. If you're kept waiting here, you give up on switching destinations and comparing at all. Before helping you find an affordable plan, we think you need to be able to compare calmly — so we chose to cut waiting time before adding anything visual.
On top of that, planning a trip or a business journey usually happens in the gaps: on the move, or just before bed. A few seconds of waiting feels minor at a desk, but on a train it's a reason to close the tab.
What this means for you
- Easier to compare while you're still deciding where to go: when you have two or three candidate countries, shorter switching times make real comparison practical
- Easier to try different allowances and durations: checking "how much difference is there between 10GB and 20GB?" is now quicker to do by adjusting the settings
- Easier to check right before departure: at the airport or in transit, where signal isn't always strong, a lighter page helps
While you're here: three things to check on the comparison page
Now that the page opens quickly, here's what to look at so you're less likely to pick the wrong plan. When comparing, there are really only three points that matter.
1. Is your destination covered?
Start with countries and regions. If you're travelling through several countries, check that every country you'll visit is included. A country you're only transiting through often doesn't need to be covered — though on a long layover, having data is reassuring.
2. Is the validity period long enough for your itinerary?
Every eSIM has a validity period. Days are commonly counted from when you start using the plan, but how the clock starts can differ from plan to plan, so please check the details before you buy. Rather than matching your itinerary exactly, leaving a little margin on either side means delays or schedule changes don't leave you scrambling.
3. Does the data allowance match how you'll use it?
The right allowance depends on what you do online and how much. Here's a rough guide (your actual usage will vary).

If you're unsure, buying a smaller allowance and topping up if you run short tends to waste the least. But if you'd rather not keep re-purchasing mid-trip, or you plan to watch a lot of video, choosing a generous allowance from the start usually turns out easier.
Bloomy eSIM is a data-only service. You don't get a phone number, and voice calls and SMS aren't available — but app-based calls that run over data, such as WhatsApp, Messenger, and FaceTime, work as usual. If you need a phone number or SMS, consider keeping your home-country line active alongside your eSIM. Unlimited plans are subject to a fair usage policy, and speeds and connection quality vary depending on the local network, your device, and where you are.
The part we were particular about
We didn't strip out information to make things faster. Everything you need to make a purchase decision — supported countries, validity period — is still there. Pushing details further back with a "check this later" only creates more uncertainty after you've bought.
