To take that guesswork away, Bloomy eSIM now offers a free 100MB (0.1GB) eSIM for first-time users in selected countries and regions. You can go through the whole process — receiving the eSIM and installing it — so you know what to expect before you choose a paid plan.
What You Get
The trial includes 100MB of data and covers around 60 countries and regions (as of July 2026). Once you receive it, installation works exactly the same way as it does for a paid plan: tap the activation link once to add the eSIM to your device, then switch the line on after you land. QR codes and manual entry are also available as alternatives, for example if you need to install the eSIM from a second device.
100MB is enough for practical things like checking directions in a maps app or messaging someone that you've arrived. It won't cover video streaming or extended tethering, so don't plan your trip around it. Think of it as a way to confirm two things: that the eSIM works on your device, and that setup is straightforward.

A Few Things to Know First
Bloomy eSIM is data-only. It doesn't come with a phone number, so voice calls and SMS aren't included — but app-based calls that run over data, such as WhatsApp, Messenger, and FaceTime, work as usual. If you need to receive SMS verification codes, plan ahead and keep your home-country line active alongside your eSIM.
All plans are subject to a fair usage policy, and actual speeds and coverage vary depending on the local network, your device, and where you are.
