To help you reach what you're looking for faster, we've reorganized the entry points to Bloomy eSIM's articles and guides by topic. Whether you want to learn how to get set up, check the things to keep in mind with unlimited plans, or compare pricing, it's now easier to find the article that fits your goal.
What we changed
Until now, articles were listed newest-first, which sometimes buried the topic you actually wanted to read. So we've regrouped the entry points into clear topics like these:
- eSIM basics & how to get started
- Unlimited eSIM
- Pricing & plan comparisons
- By situation — studying abroad, traveling, and longer stays
- Phone numbers & SMS
- IP & VPN
- Saving on your mobile bill
Each topic now has a few key articles plus a "see more" link, so you can start wherever interests you most.
Why we did this
If it's your first time using an eSIM abroad, it's easy to feel unsure about where to even begin. Having the information available doesn't help much if you can't find it. We believe the most direct path is letting readers choose articles based on their own goals, so we focused on tidying up the entry points.
How to choose an eSIM by destination, data, and duration (worth knowing too)
The way you search for an article is much the same as the way you choose an eSIM. Keeping these three things in mind makes it easier to find both the right plan and the right article to read.
Choose by destination
Start by checking whether your destination country or region is supported. Coverage and usability can differ from country to country — even within the same region — so narrowing down by country name is a good first step. If you're visiting several countries, a plan that covers a wider area can save you the hassle of switching setups.
Choose by data amount
If you mostly use maps and social apps, a smaller amount may be enough; if you stream video or use tethering, lean toward more. When your usage is hard to predict, it can help to choose a plan that lets you add data to the same eSIM if you run low (top-up), or an unlimited plan so you don't have to watch your usage as closely. Even with an unlimited plan, a high-speed cap or a fair use policy may apply, so it's worth checking the conditions in advance.
Choose by number of days
Match the plan to the length of your stay. A few days' worth suits a short trip, while a longer duration — or a plan you can choose day by day — works well for an extended stay. To avoid both leftover data and the worry of running out, it helps to pick a duration that's close to your actual schedule.
Bloomy eSIM is data-only — it does not include a phone number, SMS, or voice calls. If you need those, it's a good idea to look into a separate option as well. A data-based messaging app such as WhatsApp can cover calls and texts over your data connection.
What this makes easier
Now that you can search by goal, you can get straight there when you just want to check how something works, or only want to read the cautions around unlimited plans — without any detours. Each article also connects naturally to related comparison pages and plans, so researching and choosing flow together as one.
What we kept in mind, the Bloomy way
We made a point of not cramming in too much, and of keeping the first thing you see clean and simple. Gentle, easy to navigate, and quick to get you to just what you need — we've arranged the headings and ordering with that kind of reading experience in mind.
Looking ahead
We plan to keep adding articles little by little. We'll also continue adjusting how topics are ordered and how key articles are presented, guided by what makes things easiest for our readers.
