Weve Built the Foundation of My Page (Phase 1)

With this update, every Bloomy eSIM customer now has a personal space of their own — a place where only you, while signed in, can securely view your own information. We've put the basic structure of My Page (Phase 1) in place. Think of it as the foundation we'll gradually build on, adding features like data usage and order history over time. Buying an eSIM shouldn't be the end of the journey, so we're growing a place you can keep coming back to with confidence, one step at a time.

What's in this update

In this Phase 1, we focused on getting the "skeleton" of My Page right.

  • We built a system that shows only your own data while you're signed in. It's designed around identity verification, so other people's information stays out of view.
  • We laid the groundwork that lets us safely add features such as data usage and order history going forward.

Our priority was getting the foundation solid first. Rather than piling on visible features all at once, we believe putting a dependable, trustworthy structure in place first matters more for people who'll use the service over the long term.

Why we started with the foundation of My Page

An eSIM isn't just about the moment of purchase. You set it up before you travel, use it on the ground, and manage your data throughout your stay — the journey lasts a while. That's exactly why it's a service where it's easy to wonder, "Now that I've bought it, where do I actually check my information?"

To ease that uncertainty, we felt you needed a personal space to return to after purchase. Convenient features like usage and history can only be added with peace of mind once there's a safe foundation underneath them. So before worrying about looks, we started by building a base that correctly shows only your own data.

How this makes things better for you

Now that the foundation of My Page is in place, we can gradually introduce features that help in moments like these:

  • When you want to calmly review the details of the plan you purchased before you set off.
  • When you want to look back at your order history or status during your trip.
  • When it's your first time abroad and you want to confirm "what to do next" after buying.

We plan to roll these features out over time. Phase 1 is mainly about getting the basic structure ready, but our direction is to bring the whole post-purchase experience together in My Page.

Column: Why having a personal page after purchase brings peace of mind

For first-time users, an eSIM can feel hard to read: "Are my settings correct?" "Will it actually work?" That's precisely why having a place to check things after purchase makes such a difference to how reassured you feel. Here are a few ideas around My Page that are useful to keep in mind.

Set up before you go, activate when you arrive

For many eSIMs, the safest flow is to install it before departure while you have a stable connection, then activate the line once you reach your destination. That said, the timing of activation can vary by plan. It helps to read the guidance carefully around the time of purchase, and to follow the steps in our setup guide so you don't get lost. My Page will become a handy place to revisit "what you purchased" before and after setup like this.

What to do if your data feels like it's running low

Sometimes data goes faster than expected during a trip. Generally, if there's a way to add more capacity, topping up your current plan can involve less hassle than buying a brand-new one. On the other hand, if your stay is long and you still have plenty planned, you might choose a more generous allowance from the start, or an unlimited-type plan when it suits your needs. The key is to choose based on how many days you're traveling and how you tend to use data. If you're unsure which plan fits, our eSIM comparison page lets you search by country, data allowance, and number of days. Please note that actual data speeds and connection quality can vary depending on the local network, your device, and the area you're in.

Tips for choosing a plan by data, days, and destination

Choosing an eSIM by "where," "how many days," and "how much you'll use" makes it easier to avoid getting too much or too little. As a rough guide, maps and social media call for less, while a lot of streaming or calling apps over a long stay call for more. One thing to keep in mind: Bloomy eSIM is data-only — it does not include a phone number, SMS, or voice calls. If you need a phone number, SMS verification, or voice calling, it's worth lining up a separate option as well. App-based calls on services like WhatsApp may work wherever you have a usable data connection.

What we cared about, the Bloomy way

This time, we placed special importance on "safety" and "honesty." My Page is designed to show only your own data while you're signed in, on the premise that other people's information stays out of view. Rather than rushing to add features, we prioritized building a foundation you can use with confidence first. We'll keep nurturing it carefully, step by step, so the gentleness, cleanliness, and reassurance Bloomy stands for come through in the post-purchase experience too.

What's planned next

Going forward, we plan to gradually add features that help after purchase, such as checking your remaining data and viewing your order history. We'll adjust the scope and timing as we go, so these aren't firm commitments at this point — but we'll keep improving with the goal of a My Page that leaves you well supported even after you've bought.
