Plan prices now show the all-in total, with tax included. This means the amount on the screen is the full amount you pay — so you can tell at a glance, and you don't have to wonder whether extra charges will be added at checkout. (Final pricing can vary, so please confirm the exact amount at the time of purchase.)
What changed in this update
On both the comparison page plan cards and the plan selection screen (plan details), the total now clearly — but unobtrusively — notes that it's the all-in price including tax. The amount shown was always the total you pay; we simply reworked the wording so that's obvious at first glance. Adding a clear "tax included" note makes the total-price display easier to read. We've also aligned the wording across every place you check pricing, so the figure you see on a card and the figure you see on the details screen feel consistent.
Why we made this change
When you're comparing prices, it's hard to choose with confidence if you can't tell whether the figure is the final amount or whether tax gets added separately. For first-time users especially, simply knowing that the displayed price matches what you'll be billed removes a lot of hesitation. Being able to read a number and immediately think "that's exactly what I'll pay" matters most when you're getting ready in a hurry before a trip. We made this change because we want pricing that's honest and easy to understand.
What's better for you
- You can see right away that the displayed price is the full amount you'll pay
- When comparing several plans, you're comparing on the same basis (tax included)
- You can know the total before you commit, so you can choose with confidence
- It's easier to budget when you're estimating costs ahead of a trip
Good to know: what to look at when comparing eSIM prices
When choosing an eSIM, it helps to look beyond price alone and check the following conditions too — that way it's easier to land on a plan that fits you. Rather than deciding on price alone, it's worth confirming that the plan matches how you'll actually use it.
- Data allowance: how many GB you can use. If you mostly use maps, search, and messaging, a smaller amount may be plenty; if you stream video or make video calls, a larger amount gives you more headroom.
- Validity period: how many days the plan lasts. Rather than matching your stay exactly, leaving a little extra to cover travel days and your first day on arrival gives you breathing room.
- Total-data plan vs. daily plan: whether you draw from one overall allowance or a set amount each day. If you use data evenly every day, a daily plan can suit you; if usage varies day to day, a total-data plan may be a better fit.
- Unlimited terms: these can suit heavy or long-session use, but a fair usage policy may apply, where speeds are managed after a certain amount of use. Whether tethering is allowed — and how much — also varies by plan, so it's reassuring to check the terms in advance.
- Comparing on total price: when allowances or durations differ, your sense of "cost per GB" or "cost per day" shifts too. With the new all-in (tax-included) display, it's easier to line plans up and compare them on the same basis.
Even at the same price, the right use case changes when the allowance or duration differs. By weighing both the total price and what's included, you can choose with confidence. Pricing and plan details may change, so please confirm the latest figures before purchase on the eSIM comparison page.
The Bloomy touch
We added the "tax included" note as a quiet supporting detail that makes pricing easier to read, without letting it stand out too much. The goal was a balance: keep the price itself easy to see while still conveying the information you need. To avoid cluttering the screen with extra text, we kept the font size and placement understated as well. One note: Bloomy eSIM is fundamentally a data-only service — the price does not include phone-number-based calls or SMS. If you need a phone number, SMS, or voice calls, please also look into a separate solution.
What's planned next
We plan to keep refining how pricing is displayed and worded, little by little. We'll continue exploring ways to make comparisons easier and to present things so first-time users hesitate less. We'll keep fixing things one at a time as we notice them.
