You can now view and manage your VPN orders and subscription status in My Account, the same way you already manage your eSIMs. If you want to keep using your VPN after it expires, auto-renewal lets you continue without repurchasing every time. You can see at a glance what you're currently subscribed to and what happens after the expiry date — so you can decide whether to continue, at your own pace and with full visibility.
What's new in this update
- VPN orders now appear in your order history: The order history tab previously focused on eSIM purchases. Now your VPN orders are listed there too. Being able to look back and see when you bought which plan matters — especially for a service you use on an ongoing basis
- A redesigned renewal setup: Enabling continued use after your expiry date is now a two-step process, so you confirm the details before anything takes effect. Turning on "Keep active after expiry" opens the plan selection, and nothing is activated until you press the confirm button. Simply flipping the toggle will never start a payment
- Easier plan comparison: Monthly and annual plans are now shown side by side, and annual plans clearly display the price before and after the discount (please check the checkout screen for current pricing at the time of purchase)
- Manage from the Settings tab too: Your VPN renewal status now appears alongside the eSIM auto top-up setting, which adds data automatically when you're running low. All settings involving recurring payments are visible in one place
- One subscription per customer: VPN subscriptions are now limited to one per customer. This helps prevent accidentally purchasing a second subscription and being billed twice — caught before checkout, not after
- Updated purchase confirmation emails: Some VPN purchase confirmation emails previously included wording intended for eSIMs. We've revised them with VPN-specific text. This is a wording change only — it has no effect on your purchase or payment
Why we made these changes
Any service with recurring payments comes with a shadow side to its convenience: the worry of "I didn't realize this had started" or "I can't figure out how to cancel." The convenience we care about isn't the kind where things quietly proceed on their own — it's the kind that puts you at the center: less hassle for those who want to continue, and an easy exit for those who don't. That's why this update prioritized three things: your subscription status is always visible, the steps to confirm are unmistakable, and cancelling is immediate whenever you want it. Making your order records viewable afterward comes from the same principle. This isn't just about tidying up screens — peace of mind is the design goal itself.
What this means for you
- You can check your VPN orders, subscription status, and next renewal date in My Account, anytime
- If you want to keep using your VPN, there's no need to repurchase at every renewal — and no need to remember the renewal date and redo the process yourself
- Renewal is a two-step "select, then confirm" process, making unintended payments much less likely
- You can turn auto-renewal off at any time, and your VPN keeps working as usual until the expiry date even after you turn it off
- Accidental duplicate subscriptions are prevented before you reach checkout
- My Account works in any web browser, so you can check your subscription status and next renewal date even while traveling
Auto-renewal exists to save you the hassle of repurchasing if you want to keep using the service. If you leave it off, your VPN still works as usual until the expiry date, then simply ends — with no further charges.
Worth knowing
eSIM and VPN: better together
When you travel, you end up using public Wi-Fi more often than you might expect — at hotels, airports, and cafés. Public Wi-Fi is convenient, but because many strangers share the same network, it's an environment where sensitive actions like logging in or making payments deserve extra care. A VPN encrypts your traffic, adding a layer of protection whenever you're on Wi-Fi. A solid setup is to rely on your eSIM for mobile data and switch on your VPN whenever you connect to Wi-Fi — together they take most of the connectivity worries out of your trip. The more you'll be using public Wi-Fi — during a long stay or while studying abroad, for example — the more it pays to prepare both.
Three things to check before starting any subscription
Whether it's a VPN or anything else billed monthly or annually, checking these three things upfront makes any subscription easier to live with.
- 1. Where can you see the renewal date and amount? Know where to find your next renewal date and price yourself, so renewals never catch you off guard. With Bloomy's VPN, it's always visible in the VPN tab of My Account
- 2. Is it clear how to cancel — before you buy? A service with a clear cancellation path is easier to start with confidence. With Bloomy, you can turn off auto-renewal at any time, and the service keeps working until your expiry date
- 3. Is your payment method still valid? If your card on file has expired, a renewal can fail even when you intended to continue. For longer-term use, it's worth reviewing your payment method before the renewal date
These three checks apply to recurring subscriptions in general — video streaming, cloud storage, and beyond. Build the habit with one service, and every subscription you sign up for afterward feels less risky.
The Bloomy way of doing it
On the renewal setup screen, we placed two things side by side in the same view: what happens when you confirm (your subscription continues on the next renewal date, charged to your saved payment method) and how to stop (you can turn it off at any time). We want this to be a screen that helps you understand and choose with confidence — not one designed to push you into subscribing. The wording states plainly what will happen — "will renew," "will stop" — with no hype and no urgency tactics. Even the button colors and layout are deliberately restrained, so "Continue" doesn't dominate the screen, leaving you room to pause if you're unsure.
What's next
We're continuing to work on plan switching (changing between monthly and annual) so we can offer it in the safest possible form. If you'd like to switch plans in the meantime, please reach out via our contact page. We'll also keep gradually improving how clearly your subscription and usage details are presented.

Note: Bloomy eSIMs are data-only — they don't include a phone number, SMS, or voice calling. Data usage is subject to a fair use policy, and actual connection quality varies depending on local networks, your device, and coverage area. Features and plan details described here are current as of July 2026 and may change; please check the latest information shown in each screen, including pricing (in USD) at the time of purchase.
