A Fresh New Homepage — Easier to Navigate, Displayed in Your Language

We've redesigned the Bloomy homepage so that everything you need to know — how to find the right eSIM, which payment methods we accept, and what happens after you buy — is visible at a glance, right on the first screen. The app screenshots on the page now also switch to match your display language, so whether you're browsing in English, Korean, Chinese, or French, what you see is what you'll get.

What's new in this update

  • A redesigned first screen: A new layout featuring phone screen mockups and our character illustrations lets you start searching for a plan right away — just pick your destination and travel dates.
  • Localized screenshots: The app screen images on the homepage now switch to match your selected display language, including English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, and French (as of July 2026).
  • Payment methods up front: Supported payment options — major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Alipay, and more — are now shown on the very first screen.
  • Better mobile readability: We fine-tuned text sizes and spacing so the essentials — easy setup, customer support, and payment options — all fit within the first screen on your phone.

Why we made these changes

The homepage is the first thing you see when you discover Bloomy. If you've never used an eSIM before, you probably have three questions: "Is setup complicated?", "Is payment secure?", and "Will I be left on my own after I buy?" We rethought the layout and the order of information so those answers appear the moment the page loads — not three scrolls down.

What this means for you

  • Start browsing plans instantly — just choose your destination and travel dates
  • See accepted payment methods before you buy, so there are no surprises at checkout
  • Screenshots now appear in your display language, so nothing gets lost in translation

Quick guide: choosing an eSIM comes down to three things — destination, duration, and data

Our homepage search starts with "choose your destination and dates" for a simple reason: once you add data volume, those are really the only three decisions that matter when picking an eSIM.

First, your destination. eSIM plans are organized by country or region, so knowing where you're headed instantly narrows your options. Next, duration. If your plan is shorter than your trip, you'll have to buy more data mid-journey — so choose a plan that matches or slightly exceeds your itinerary. Finally, data volume. If you mainly use maps, social media, and web browsing, around 500MB–1GB per day is a reasonable ballpark. If you stream video or use your phone as a hotspot, consider a larger plan or an unlimited-type option (these are general guidelines — actual usage varies from person to person).

Decide on these three things first, then compare your options on the eSIM comparison page — it's the easiest way to avoid picking a plan on price alone and running out of data mid-trip. After purchase, setup is simple: tap the setup link you receive and follow the on-screen instructions. See the setup guide for step-by-step details.

A few things to keep in mind: Bloomy eSIMs are data-only, which means they don't include a phone number, SMS, or voice calls (messaging and calling apps like WhatsApp work over data). Unlimited-type plans are subject to a fair use policy, and actual connection speeds and quality vary depending on the local network, your device, and your location.

The details we obsessed over

  • For illustrations and screenshots, we prioritized "this feels trustworthy and easy" over showing off features
  • We reviewed the small things one by one — right down to translating the text inside the screenshot images to match your display language
  • Instead of flashy slogans, we focused on telling you what you can actually do, in as few words as possible

What's next

We'll be applying the same approach to other pages across the site, step by step. You can follow our updates on the changelog.
