Weve improved My Account, order history, the auto top-up settings, and the sign-in experience

With this update, it's now easier to check and manage your remaining data, expiry date, order history, and auto top-up settings right from your My Account screen. Even if this is your first time using an eSIM, we've focused on cleaner layouts and clearer wording so you can quickly understand "where things stand now" and "what to do next" after your purchase.

What's in this update

We made three main improvements, centered on the My Account area.

  • We improved the readability of My Account and order history, making it easier to review the plan you bought and your current status.
  • We reorganized the auto top-up settings UI so the details of your configuration are easier to grasp.
  • We refined the sign-in experience with wording and flows that adapt to your status, so it's easier to follow.

The key information you can check after purchase includes your remaining data, expiry date, order history, and auto top-up settings. We've brought these together so you can reach them from a single screen and feel confident continuing to use your eSIM after buying it.

Why we made these changes

With an eSIM, the purchase isn't the end of the story—the real experience begins once you start using it at your destination. For first-time users especially, not being able to easily see your remaining data or expiry date can create small worries. At Bloomy, we care not only about offering good value, but also about making sure you're not left stuck after you buy. So rather than adding more features, we prioritized presenting the information that's already there in a clearer, easier-to-read way.

How this helps you

Here are a few situations where it comes in handy:

  • When you want to check "how much data do I have left" during a trip, you can see an estimate of your remaining data and expiry date in My Account.
  • When you want to look back at "which plan did I buy," you can trace it from your order history.
  • It's now easier to review your auto top-up settings on screen and decide whether to use the feature.

Please note that the remaining data and usage shown are based on information from the mobile network, so there may be a delay before they update. Treat these figures as estimates.

A side note: what to do when you're about to run low on data

Once you can check your remaining data in My Account, the next question is often "what should I do if I'm about to run out?" As a general guide, here's how to think about choosing between a top-up (adding more data) and buying a new plan. Which one suits you depends on your situation.

  • Staying in the same place and just a little short: if you can add data to the eSIM you're already using, you can keep going without changing your settings—less hassle.
  • Your plan is about to expire, you're moving to another country, or you need a lot more data: choosing a new plan can make it easier to match the data, number of days, and supported countries you need.

When you're unsure, it helps to consider how many days you have left and roughly how much data you're likely to use (the more you rely on maps, video, or calling apps, the faster it goes). Top-up availability, limits, and other conditions can vary by plan and timing, so please check the latest details shown at the time of purchase.

A side note: tips for choosing an eSIM by destination, data, and duration

To avoid running short in the first place, how you choose before buying matters too. eSIMs are mainly chosen by three things: destination (supported countries), data amount, and number of days. A short trip may call for a smaller data allowance, while a long stay or study abroad may suit a larger allowance or an unlimited plan—the right plan changes with how you use it. On Bloomy's comparison page, you can search for plans by country, data amount, and number of days. If you expect to use a lot of maps, social media, or video, choosing a plan with a little extra headroom can give you peace of mind.

The Bloomy touch

We designed the wording, colors, and flows to feel gentle and clean, so even first-time users don't feel intimidated. We avoid jargon where we can, and make it clear "what to do next" based on your current status.

Also, Bloomy plans are generally data-only: they do not include a phone number, SMS, or voice calls. If you need a phone number, SMS, or voice calls, please also look into other options. App-based calling such as WhatsApp may work wherever you have a working data connection. Actual connection quality can vary depending on the local network, your device, and the area.

What's coming next

We plan to keep reviewing the usability of the My Account area. We'll continue to adjust the clarity of displays and flows step by step. We'll share specifics in our development updates as they're decided.
