We've now aligned how "popular" is judged and how featured plans are chosen across the homepage recommendations and the comparison page, smoothing out that disconnect.
What's in this update
There are two main things we've brought into line:
- A unified standard for judging "popular" — instead of "popular" looking different from screen to screen, it's now judged by a shared rule.
- A unified way of choosing the featured plan — the "featured plan" you see first for each country is now selected by weighing popularity, a practical balance of data/duration, and price.
This helps prevent the situation where the same country shows wildly different featured plans on the homepage versus the comparison page.
Why we made this change (background)
Bloomy eSIM has two entry points with different roles: the "recommended" section on the homepage, and the list on the comparison page. The homepage is where you get an initial feel for your options; the comparison page is the list where you actually choose and buy. Because their roles differ, they don't need to be identical down to the contents — but having the featured plan for the same country look like a completely different thing is a recipe for confusion.
On top of that, simply featuring "the cheapest plan" can push a plan with too little data to the front, one that wouldn't be enough for real travel or a study-abroad stay. So we reorganized things to consider popularity and practicality alongside price, rather than price alone.

Say you've decided to travel to South Korea, you spot a plan on the homepage, keep it in mind, and then open the comparison page — because a similar lineup appears, you'll spend less time hunting for "which one was it?"
