With this update, the journey from buying your eSIM to actually getting connected is clear the moment you open the screen, so first-time users are far less likely to get stuck during setup. We reworked the "Use it in 3 Steps" section on our top page along with the setup guidance, designing it so you can grasp the whole flow at a glance — especially on mobile.
What's new in this update
- We reorganized the mobile "Use it in 3 Steps" into a horizontal swipe layout that shows the whole flow on a single screen (numbered 01–03 so the order is easy to follow).
- We revised the setup guidance to read "After purchase, check your setup details in My Account. You can get set up easily with a single tap." — making it clear where to look once you've bought a plan.
- We toned down the accent colors to a calmer palette, so it's naturally obvious which step to tap next.
This isn't an update that adds new features — it's a redesign that makes the existing setup flow easier to understand at a glance.
Why we made the change
Until now, the instructions ran long vertically on mobile, which made it hard to see "what do I actually do, and in what order?" at a glance. For people trying an eSIM for the first time, the biggest worry usually isn't the price — it's the feeling that "setup looks complicated." So we prioritized two things: letting you see the whole flow up front before you buy, and helping you reach the setup screen without confusion after you buy.
How this helps you
Three things in particular are now easier to understand.
- You see the big picture first: Before buying, you can see the flow — "① Choose a plan → ② Set it up → ③ Use it at your destination" — at a glance, which eases pre-purchase worries.
- A clear starting point after purchase: We made it clearer that the setup details for your eSIM are available in My Account. That helps cut down on the "I bought it — now what do I look at?" feeling.
- Smoother setup on the ground: Because you can learn the flow before you leave, you can move through it calmly once you arrive instead of scrambling.

While we're here, let's walk through the improved "3 steps" in a little more detail. If this is your first eSIM, picturing the following flow ahead of time can put your mind at ease (this is a general flow as of June 2026; steps can vary by plan, so please also check the guidance provided at the time of purchase).
- Before you go: choose a plan, buy it, and install the eSIM. In most cases, it's reassuring to finish installation while you still have reliable internet, such as Wi-Fi, before you travel.
- After you arrive: activate the line and start using it. Installing the eSIM (adding it to your device) and "activating" it to actually start using the line are two separate steps. The timing of activation and how the usage period is counted can differ from plan to plan, so checking the guidance before and after purchase helps you start without wasting any of your allowance.
- Check your setup details in My Account. The details, QR code, and setup steps for an eSIM you've purchased are available in My Account.
One more thing worth knowing: Bloomy eSIMs are generally data-only. A phone number, SMS (text messaging), and voice calls are typically not included. If you need SMS verification or a phone number, it's wise to keep another option ready as well — such as holding on to your primary home SIM. App-based calls through services like WhatsApp may work wherever you have a working data connection. Please also note that connection quality can vary depending on the local network, your device, and your location, and that all plans are subject to a fair use policy.
The Bloomy touches we cared about
Rather than cramming the "3 steps" onto one crowded screen, we show each card large, one at a time, with the next card peeking in slightly — so it's naturally clear that you can swipe. We kept the colors restrained, highlighting only the button we'd like you to tap. We focused on a gentle, calm look that helps first-time users feel, "I can do this myself."
What's next
We'll keep refining how clear the setup experience feels, little by little. Watching feedback from people who actually use the service, we plan to smooth out the tricky spots one at a time.
