A Clearer Login Screen: Know Your Options Before You Tap

On the login screen, you can now see which sign-in methods are available before you tap anything. This update removes that moment of hesitation when you press a button and unexpected options appear.

What we changed

  • A button labeled "Log in with email" actually opened a panel offering both an email field and a Google sign-in option. We renamed the button to match what it really does, and added a heading inside the panel so the options are clear once it opens.
  • Tapping an input field sometimes drew several outlines stacked on top of each other. We reduced it to a single outline that follows the rounded corners cleanly.
  • For anyone navigating by keyboard, the focus indicator that shows "where you are typing right now" has been kept. Tidying up the visuals should never remove something people rely on.
  • If you arrive through a login link sent by email, you're now returned to the page you originally wanted to see.

Why we looked at this

The login screen is a place everyone passes through when they want to check the details of an eSIM they've bought. If it feels even once like "this isn't the screen I expected," some people give up on checking altogether. That's especially true while traveling, when you're often working with limited time and a shaky connection — exactly the situation where confusion is easiest to create.

A button label that doesn't quite match what appears next is a small gap. But for first-time users, it reads as "did I tap the wrong thing?" We think getting these small details right is what builds confidence in the rest of the service.

What's better for you

  • You can see the login options before choosing, so there's no guesswork.
  • Input fields look cleaner, and it's obvious which one you're typing in.
  • Email login links take you straight to the page you were headed for.

After logging in, you can review your purchased eSIM details and usage from My Account.

Trouble logging in? Start here

While we're on the subject, here are the things worth checking when login doesn't go smoothly. In most cases, one of these is the cause.

Are you using the same email address you bought with?

eSIM details are sent to the email address entered at checkout. If you're signing in with a different address than the one you ordered with, you won't reach the same screen. Check which inbox received your order confirmation.

Did the email land in spam?

If your login email is nowhere to be found, check your spam or promotions folder. On some networks abroad, delivery can take a little longer, so waiting a moment and trying again often works.

Log in once before you travel

This one is preparation rather than a fix, but signing in once before you leave saves stress later. It also helps to tap your setup link and add the eSIM to your device ahead of time, then simply switch the line on after you land — that keeps on-arrival steps to a minimum. To confirm your device supports eSIM, see our compatible devices guide.

If none of that helps

If the connection itself isn't working, the cause may be on the network settings side rather than login. Have a look at connection troubleshooting as well. Still stuck? Reach out via Contact and we'll help.

The Bloomy way of doing this

Our main concern here was not to delete something necessary in the name of a tidier design. The indicator showing which field is focused is essential for people navigating by keyboard. We cleaned up only the duplicated outlines and left the functional role intact.

We also didn't change the login methods themselves. Nobody should find their familiar way in suddenly gone, so we limited this update to making the labels and the screen match what actually happens.

What's next

Login is an area where the experience shifts depending on your device and setup. We'll keep checking real screens and adjusting, starting with the spots most likely to cause hesitation.

A note on our service: Bloomy eSIMs are data-only — they don't include a phone number, SMS, or voice calls. A fair use policy applies, and actual speeds and connection quality vary with the local network, your device, and your location. Plan details and pricing (in USD) should be confirmed at the time of purchase.
