Refund & Cancellation Policy

So that you can purchase our overseas eSIM data plans with confidence, Bloomy eSIM sets out the conditions for cancellation and refunds below.

  • Refunds after issuance: Once the eSIM has been issued, refunds are generally not available, even if unused, due to the nature of the product.

01. About the nature of eSIM products

The eSIM data plans sold by Bloomy eSIM are digital products that do not involve shipping a physical SIM card. After purchase, we send the QR code, activation code, or other eSIM setup information by email or similar means. Once an eSIM has been issued, it can be difficult to resell, reclaim, or deactivate even if unused, so cancellations and refunds after issuance are limited.

02. Cancellation

If the QR code or activation information has not yet been issued after your purchase, cancellation may be possible. If you wish to cancel, please contact us through our contact form as soon as possible. However, cancellation may not be accepted if system processing, issuance by the supplier, or automatic issuance has already started or completed.

03. Refunds after issuance

Once the QR code, activation code, or other setup information has been issued and sent, cancellations and refunds are generally not possible due to the nature of digital products. This is because, once issued, an eSIM can be difficult to resell to a third party or reclaim, even if unused.

04. Main cases where refunds are not available

  • The eSIM has already been issued (QR code or activation information sent).
  • The plan was purchased for an unsupported device or the wrong country/plan was selected by the customer.
  • Data was not used because of the customer's own circumstances (e.g., change of travel plans).
  • The validity period expired without use.

05. Unsupported devices and selection mistakes

Please check that your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked, and confirm the destination and plan details before purchasing. Refunds are generally not available for issues caused by an unsupported device or by selecting the wrong plan.

06. If a connectivity problem occurs

If you experience a connectivity problem, please contact us with the details (your device model, destination, and the symptoms). We will check the situation and, where appropriate, provide troubleshooting support, an alternative solution, or determine whether a refund is possible.

07. Cases that may be eligible for a refund

A refund may be considered when, for example, the eSIM cannot be used at all due to a confirmed problem on the supplier or network side, and the issue cannot be resolved by troubleshooting. Each case is assessed individually based on the situation.

08. Refund method and timing

If a refund is approved, it will in principle be returned via the original payment method used at purchase. Depending on your payment provider, it may take some time for the refund to be reflected.

09. Before requesting a chargeback

If you have any concern about a charge, please contact us first. We would like the opportunity to check the situation and respond before you file a chargeback with your card issuer, so that we can resolve the matter smoothly.

10. Please check before purchasing

  • Your device supports eSIM and is carrier-unlocked.
  • The destination, data amount, and validity period match your trip.
  • You understand that the eSIM cannot generally be refunded once issued.

We may revise this policy as needed. The latest version posted on this page applies.
