Our Cancellation and Refund Policy Now Covers Reissuing Activation Details

Published: August 17, 2026

We've added a section on reissuing activation details (your activation code) to the Bloomy eSIM cancellation and refund policy. This is something we have always handled case by case; we've now put it in writing, together with the conditions that apply.

What we added

As a rule, an eSIM cannot be cancelled or refunded once it has been issued. That hasn't changed. What we've added is the following.

If we can confirm that your activation details are unusable — for example, because the installation never finished — we may reissue them free of charge, once per order, after reviewing the situation. Whether a reissue is possible is decided by us based on the provider's records: data usage, installation status, validity period, and similar. Cases where data has already been used, where the validity period has passed, or where a second reissue is requested are reviewed individually.

This wording now appears on every language version of the site.

Which plan fits this trip?

Tell us where and for how long. We suggest the eSIM that fits: not too much, never too little.

Bloomy, our support AI, answers from real plans and current prices.

Who this applies to

This is for anyone whose activation details no longer work — you stopped partway through adding the eSIM, or the connection dropped and the installation didn't complete. Activation details can normally only be used once, so in cases like these you can't simply start over with the same code.

One thing worth checking first: if the plan already appears in your device's list of mobile plans or SIMs, the installation did finish. No reissue is needed. Just turn the line on and switch your mobile data over to it.

What you need to do

If you're already using your eSIM, nothing. Only get in touch if your activation details have stopped working — you can reach us through the contact form. It helps us sort things out quickly if you include your order number or the email address you bought with, your device model, whatever is showing on screen, and whether the plan appears in your device's list of mobile plans.

Getting stuck during setup and not knowing what happens next is an unpleasant place to be, so we're working on both sides of it: clearer policy wording, and clearer guidance on screen. If anything is unclear, please don't hesitate to ask.

Please note: Bloomy eSIMs are data-only. They don't come with a phone number, and don't support SMS or voice calls — you can keep using your home-country number on your existing line, and stay in touch through apps like WhatsApp. Use is subject to our fair usage policy, and actual speeds and connection quality vary depending on the local network, your device, and where you are. The details above reflect our policy as of August 2026.
